Volleyball’s Bedart-Ghani named Muscle Milk Female Athlete of the Year

Texas junior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani was recognized at the CPSDA Annual Conference Awards banquet.

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball junior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani has been named Female Athlete of the Year, the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietician Association announced on Friday.

The Muscle Milk "Athlete of the Year" Award recognizes one male and one female collegiate, Olympic, professional, or tactical athlete whose athletic accomplishments reflect dedication to sports nutrition.

Texas nutritionist Lauren Hartman nominated Bedart-Ghani, and her award was recognized at the CPSDA Annual Conference Awards banquet in Scottsdale, Ariz.
