Volleyball’s Prieto Cerame named Rookie of the Year

Longhorn Paulina Prieto Cerame has been named Rookie of the Year with Valencianas de Juncos.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball alum Paulina Prieto Cerame (2014-16) has been named 2017 Rookie of the Year with Valencianas de Juncos.
She registered 25 kills and five blocks to break the rookie record with 30 total points to lead her team to the semifinal round in the Mazda Cup. The series will continue on Sunday, May 7.
Prieto Cerame received 98 votes, 60 more than the runner-up.
