Volleyball quartet named to U.S. Women’s U21 National Team

Four Longhorns selected among 20 athletes to train for NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Texas Volleyball had four student-athletes named to the 2026 U.S. Women's U21 National Team, the organization announced Monday. Henley Anderson, Genevieve Harris, Taylor Harvey and Abby Vander Wal are among 20 athletes selected to train for the 2026 NORCECA Women's U21 Pan American Cup, with 14 of those 20 advancing to the final competition roster.
Training for the U21 Pan American Cup is set for June 26 through July 5 in Columbus, Ohio, ahead of the competition scheduled for July 7-12, also in Columbus.
The U21 Pan American Cup will be held at Covelli Center on the campus of Ohio State University, where athletes will compete in front of a home crowd. Tickets for the event are now on sale.
All four Longhorns have previously competed for USA Volleyball age-group national teams at either the U19 or U21 World Championships.
Tama Miyashiro will serve as head coach for the U21 team competing in Columbus, assisted by Alfee Reft and Alisha Childress.
"I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to work with some of the best young, talented athletes in our country," Miyashiro said. "It's always an honor to represent the USA. I can't wait to see these athletes compete for a spot on this U21 Pan American Cup roster."
