• ROACH'S RETURN: Junior guard Kerwin Roach II returned to the lineup after missing the previous two games (left hand fracture) and posted a season-high 20 points (5-10 FG, 8-9 FT) and 5 rebounds in 29 minutes during Wednesday's home victory against No. 8/8 Texas Tech.
• BAMBA SEES DOUBLE: Freshman forward Mohamed Bamba registered his eighth double-double of the year (fourth in six Big 12 Conference contests) with his 15-point, 11-rebound, 5-block effort against No. 8/8 Texas Tech on Wednesday. Bamba leads the Big 12 Conference in both rebounding (10.5 rpg) and blocked shots (4.53 bpg) and ranks second nationally (thru games of Jan. 17) in blocks per game.
