LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Texas Longhorn wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll on Monday morning, announced by the Louisville Sports Commission.
Humphrey had career highs of nine catches for 133 yards in Saturday's 48-45 win over No. 7/5 Oklahoma in the AT&T Red River Showdown. He caught a touchdown pass and also threw one, the first of his career. He leads the Longhorns with 35 receptions for 535 yards and four touchdowns this season.
The Paul Hornung Award, now in its ninth season, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commissioner and football legend and Louisville native Paul Hornung. The winner and his family will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award dinner presented by the Jewish Hospital Sports Medicine, to be held at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville in March 2019. This will be the Paul Hornung Awards' third year as an associate member of the National College Football Awards Association.
