Senior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani posted 24 kills in Texas’ wins last week.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 5 Texas Volleyball senior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.
Bedart-Ghani posted 24 kills (4.00/set) on 36 swings with only one error for a scorching .639 hitting percentage in Texas' wins over Texas Tech and West Virginia last week.
She also added five blocks (0.83/set) and three digs (0.50/set) for 26.5 total points.
The award marks the first of Bedart-Ghani's career and the last weekly award of the season.
