POST-MATCH COMMENTS
Texas head coach Howard Joffe
On the match and looking towards facing Baylor tomorrow: I think, by in large, I am very pleased to win. At the same time, it was a difficult match. TCU actually has a very good roster. It's laden with seniors that have a lot of experience. They for whatever reason, by their high standards, have had a subpar year. So, for their group my guess for the whole season it's been win or go home. That's a dangerous place to play a team, for a lack of a better word, who is desperate. Our ladies understood that. The doubles point was quite contentious and difficult. I certainly wouldn't give us an "A" grade for how we handled the stress. I don't think it was our best tennis. But, that was a team that had everything to win and nothing to lose. I am very proud of the girls. Clearly, we are going to have to play a lot better if we want to try and beat Baylor tomorrow. They are a formidable team and we're going to have to perform a lot better if we want to get the win.
