Volleyball’s Eggleston set for 2018 NORCECA Women’s U20 Continental Championship

Longhorn freshman Logan Eggleston will compete with the U.S. Women’s National Team from June 18-23.
AUSTIN, Texas – Longhorn freshman Logan Eggleston will compete with the U.S. Women's National Team in the 2018 NORCECA Women's U20 Continental Championship from June 18-23 in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Team USA will compete in the 12-country NORCECA Championship, where the winner automatically qualifies for the 2019 FIVB Women's U20 World Championship.
The U.S. Women's Junior National Team is part of Group A and will face Puerto Rico on Monday, June 18, Cuba on Tuesday, June 19, and Guatemala on Wednesday, June 20. Quarterfinals will be played on the 21st, semifinals on the 22nd, and finals on the 23rd.

Eggleston was chosen for the 12-player roster on June 5 and has been training in Colorado Springs, Colo. since June 8.
