Volleyball’s Eggleston named to U.S. Women’s Junior National Team

The Longhorn freshman will compete at the 2018 NORCECA Women’s U20 Continental Championship with Team USA.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball freshman Logan Eggleston is one of 12 players chosen to represent the United States with the U.S. Women's Junior National Team, USA Volleyball announced on Tuesday.
The U.S. Women's Junior National Team will train June 8-15 in Colorado Springs, Colo., before departing for Aguascalientes, Mexico, to compete in the 12-country NORCECA Championship from June 18-23. The NORCECA winner automatically qualifies for the 2019 FIVB Women's U20 World Championship.
The U.S. Women's Junior National Team is part of Group A where it will face Puerto Rico on June 18, Cuba on June 19 and Guatemala on June 20. Quarterfinals will be staged June 21, followed by semifinals on June 22 and final classification rounds on June 23.
