In Memoriam: Dr. Terry Todd

Texas lost an impactful figure with the passing of Dr. Terry Todd, a UT men's tennis letterwinner and founder of the H.J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports.
On Saturday, Dr. Terence "Terry" Todd passed away in Austin, Texas at the age of 80. Among his many accomplishments, he was a letterwinner for the men's tennis team at The University of Texas, an innovator in the field of strength training, and a founder of UT's H.J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports. He will be dearly missed.
On Wednesday, July 11, per Terry Todd's personal request, a brief graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery Annex. The street address for the cemetery is 1601 Navasota St., Austin, Texas 78702, but the Todd family plot is best reached by turning onto Comal Street and then turning east into the Annex.
A public memorial service to celebrate the life of Terry Todd will be held on the campus of The University of Texas on Saturday, July 28, at 3 p.m. in the Connelly Ballroom of the Etta-Harber Alumni Center at 2110 San Jacinto Boulevard, Austin, Texas, 78712.
