No. 3 Volleyball falls at No. 2 Stanford

Freshman Brionne Butler led Texas with 11 kills and three blocks.
PALO ALTO, Calif. – No. 3 Texas Volleyball fell to No. 2 Stanford at Maples Pavilion on Tuesday night, 0-3 (15-25, 22-25, 30-32).
Freshman Brionne Butler led the Longhorns with 11 kills (.318) and three blocks.
Junior Micaya White posted nine kills (.292), seven digs, and three assists, while freshman Logan Eggleston finished with seven kills and two aces, and senior Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani posted seven kills and two blocks.
Bedart-Ghani's seven kills came on 10 swings with no errors for a season-high .700 hitting percentage.
Sophomore Ashley Shook posted 33 assists, seven digs, two blocks, and four kills (.333) and junior Claire Hahn finished with seven digs, two assists, and two aces.
The Longhorns will have a chance to bounce back when they host Stanford at Gregory Gym on Friday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. The match will be televised live on Longhorn Network.
