- No. 12 Texas looks to get back on the winning track on Saturday when it travels to Norman, Okla., to take on Oklahoma. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. CT and the game will be televised by Fox Sports Southwest. The Longhorns are looking to win in Norman for the second consecutive year.
- The Series: Texas and Oklahoma meet for the 58th time in the history of the two programs. The Longhorns lead the all-time series between the two teams, 32-25. The Sooners hold a 14-9 edge when the game is played in Norman. Texas has won seven of the last 10 meetings with Oklahoma, including a 73-63 victory in Austin on January 9.
- On The Boards: Texas ranks third nationally in rebound margin at +12.8. The Longhorns rank third in the Big 12 Conference with 908 total boards on the season and Texas is averaging 43.2 rebounds per game, which ranks 21st nationally. The Longhorns have held or tied for the rebounding advantage in 19 of the 21 games they have played this season and 108 of the last 126 games overall. Texas also is 27th nationally in offensive rebounds per game at 16.0.
- Sug[ar] and Spice: Junior Sug Sutton, in her first season as her team's starting point guard, is one of the nation's top all-around floor leaders. Sutton, who has played in 89 career games, ranks 10th nationally in total assists with 117. She is also 23rd in the nation in assists per game at 5.6. She is filling up the stat sheet with 12.6 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio and a field-goal percentage of 48.6. In league action only, she is the Big 12's only player to rank in the top-10 in the conference in points per game [15.3], assists per game [5.1] and field-goal percentage [53.1].
- Balance: Texas is benefiting from a balanced lineup this season. Seven Longhorns are averaging 6.0 points per game or better this season and eight different players have been the team's leading scorer in 21 games this year. There have been seven different starting lineups and nine active players have started at least one game. Six players are averaging 20 minutes per game or better.
- Up Next: Texas returns to action on Monday when it plays host to No. 1 Baylor. Tip-off in the Frank Erwin Center is slated for 6 p.m. CT and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
