Alison Gibson claims her second title at the 2019 Texas Diving Invitational
AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas women's divers claimed the top five spots in the 1-meter final on Friday evening at the 2019 Texas Diving Invitational.
Alison Gibson won her second event of the invitational by taking the 1-meter competition on Friday after claiming the 3-meter on Thursday. She scored a 320.90 in the competition, claiming first place in five of the six rounds.
Morgan Menninger claimed second place after scoring a 280.30, while Paola Pineda jumped from fifth to third over the final two rounds, ending with a final score of 276.90.
Jordan Skilken finished in fourth with a 274.05, and Janie Boyle finished in fifth with a 269.40.
The Longhorns will wrap up the 2019 Texas Diving Invitational on Saturday with the platform completion at 10:30.
