Women's Swimming and Diving in ninth heading into final day of NCAA Championships

Day three was highlighted by Alison Gibson's All-American performance on 3-meter.
AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Texas women's swimming and diving team closed out night three at the NCAA Championships in ninth-place with 127.5 points.
Night Three Notes
- Claire Adams and Julia Cook went 2-7 in the consolation finals of the 100 back. Adams swam a 51.43 for her sixth honorable mention All-American of her career while Cook earned her first honorable mention All-American honor in an individual event as a freshman.
- Alison Gibson went two-for-two on All-American honors for the springboard events after tying for sixth-place on 3-meter with 368.75 points. It's the best finish ever for the junior on 3-meter at the NCAA Championships.
- Meghan O'Brien secured her best finish on 3-meter, winning the consolation finals after finishing less than six points back at the end of prelims. It's her first honorable mention All-American honor of her four year career as a Longhorn.
- The Longhorn relay team of Claire Adams, Kennedy Lohman, Remedy Rule and Grace Ariola dropped the ninth-best time (1:36.78) in program history in the 200 medley relay, earning a fourth-place finish in the consolation finals.
