ESPN’s College GameDay coming to Austin

College Football’s premier pregame show broadcasts live from the LBJ Lawn on Saturday, Sept. 7.
Advance parking in the East Campus Garage ($15) for ESPN College GameDay is available online at Click and Park. Select "ESPN GameDay LBJ Lawn" as the venue. This parking is only valid for the ESPN College GameDay broadcast, and NOT for Texas vs. LSU game parking. Vehicles with the "ESPN GameDay LBJ Lawn" parking pass must be removed from the garage no later than 2 p.m. Passes must be purchased by 10 p.m. Friday, Sept 6.
AUSTIN, Texas -- ESPN's College GameDay broadcasts live from the Lyndon B. Johnson Library Lawn on Saturday, Sept. 7, ahead of Texas' highly anticipated matchup against No. 6 LSU, the show announced Saturday night.
Fans can join Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and more beginning at 8 a.m. Central. The show broadcasts for three hours leading up to a full day of college football action. The Horns and Tigers square off Saturday night, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. Central on ABC.
Saturday's show marks the first time that College GameDay has been live in Austin since 2009 when Texas defeated Texas Tech, 34-24, inside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. It is the 17th time overall that College GameDay has been on hand for a Texas Football contest, and seventh time in Austin. UT is 10-6 all-time when the Horns are one of the teams in College GameDay's featured matchup, highlighted by a 5-1 mark when the show comes to the Forty Acres.
