The Longhorns continue their 2019-20 indoor season with a pair of meets that take place Jan 24-25.
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Track and Field programs, both ranked No. 4 in the USTFCCCA Preseason Rankings, continue their 2019-20 indoor seasons with a pair of meets this weekend. The Longhorns will take part in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., and at the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston, Ma., on Friday, Jan. 24, and Saturday, Jan. 25.
This will be UT's third weekend of competition this season, with the Horns previously taking part in the FasTrak Collegiate Opener (Dec. 7) and the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational (Jan. 17), both of which were held at Yeoman Fieldhouse in Houston, Texas. The Longhorns have combined to win 16 individual events at those two meets, including a trio of relay victories.
Texas' 2019-20 Indoor Track and Field roster features 10 returning indoor All-Americans from a season ago, highlighted by seven on the men's side. The Longhorns also welcome back three competitors – Sophia Falco, Micaiah Harris and Georgia Wahl – who earned All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Austin, Texas, last year.
