- Texas looks to extend its win streak to a season-best five games on Tuesday when it travels to Norman, Okla., to take on Oklahoma. Tip-off at the Lloyd Noble Center is slated for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be televised by Fox Sports Oklahoma.
- The Series: Texas and Oklahoma meet for the 59th time in the history of the two programs. The Longhorns lead the all-time series 33-25. Texas has won four consecutive meetings between the two teams and eight of the last 10. The Sooners hold a 14-10 edge against the Longhorns when the game is played in Norman.
- Road Warriors: Tuesday's game marks the fifth Big 12 Conference road game this month for Texas. The Longhorns are 3-1 on the road in league play, earning victories at Iowa State, Kansas State and Oklahoma State. Texas also has a road victory this season against Tennessee.
- Taylor-Made: Freshman guard Celeste Taylor is a two-time Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week selection and has made a big impact on her team this season. Taylor is tied for the team lead in steals [30] and three-pointers made [20]. She averages 8.9 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game. Taylor has scored in double figures in nine games this season.
- Sophomore Success: Sophomore center Charli Collier is one of six players in the Big 12 Conference to average a double-double with 13.9 points per game and a squad-best 10.5 rebounds per game. She has 11 double-doubles and ranks 17th nationally in rebounds per game.
- On The Boards: Success on the boards has been a staple of Texas teams for many years. In fact the Longhorns have tied or won the rebounding battle in 131 of their last 158 games overall, including 13 of 19 games this season. The Longhorns hold a +9.3 rebounding margin, which ranks 13th nationally. Texas has reached 50 or more rebounds in six games this year.
- Next Up: Texas returns to action on Friday when it plays host to No. 2/1 Baylor. Tip-off at the Frank Erwin Center is slated for 6 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by FS1.
