No. 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving tops No. 13 ASU

Thirteen wins lead Longhorns to team victory.
TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 1 Texas men's swimming and diving program took down Arizona State on Friday afternoon, 184-109, at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.
The Longhorns finished the dual with thirteen wins.
MEET NOTES
- Drew Kibler hit 1:36.24 in the 200 Free and Austin Katz followed in second with a time of 1:37.40.
- Daniel Krueger picked up two wins with a 50 free tile at 19.93 and a 43.26 time in 100 Free. Alvin Jiang took second in the 50 Free (20.30) and Kibler took third in the 100 Free with a 44.25 time.
- Freshmen Jake Foster and Paul Degrado went 1-2 in the 200 Breast with times of 2:00.68 and 2:04.55.
- In the 500 free, Texas claimed the top four spots. Alex Zettle (4:27.98), JohnThomas Larson (4:29.19) and Austin Katz (4:29.38) went 1-2-3, and Jack Collins took fourth with a 4:31.30 time.
- In the 100 Fly, Maxime Rooney took home the title with a time of 46.72, while Alvin Jiang followed with a time of 47.32.
- The Longhorns won the 200-medley relay with the crew of Chris Staka, Caspar Corbeau, Jiang and Krueger. They hit the wall in a time of 1:26.47.
- Jordan Windle took home both dive competition titles. In the 3-meter competition, he won with a score of 412.43, while in the 1 meter he won with a score of 393.75.
