- The Texas women's basketball team stays on the road this Sunday when it travels to Morgantown, W.Va., to face No. 19/20 West Virginia. Tip-off in WVU Coliseum is slated for 12 p.m. CT and the game will be televised by Fox Sports Net.
- The Series: Texas and West Virginia meet for the 19th time in the history of the two programs. The Longhorns lead the all-time series 12-6. Texas leads the series 4-3 when the game is played in Morgantown and the Longhorns have won four consecutive years in WVU Coliseum. Texas split the season series with the Mountaineers last season.
- vs. The Ranked: Texas is 2-1 this season against opponents ranked in the Associated Press Top-25 at the time of the game. The Longhorns have defeated No. 1 Stanford and No. 17 Tennessee this year. Since the start of the 2015-16 season, Texas has earned 22 wins against ranked foes.
- Double Trouble: Texas leads the nation with 19 double-doubles this season. Sophomore center Charli Collier and senior forward Joyner Holmes each have nine double-doubles, which is tied for seventh nationally. Senior guard Lashann Higgs has one double-double on the year.
- Sophomore Strong: Sophomore center Charli Collier has had a breakout second year for the Longhorns. She is one of only six players in the Big 12 to be averaging a double-double with 13.8 points per game and 10.6 rebounds per game. Collier also ranks 17th nationally in rebounds per game and 29th nationally in offensive rebounds per game with 3.9. She is 17th in the Big 12 in scoring and 14th in field-goal percentage [.442].
- On The Boards: Success on the boards has been a staple of Texas teams for many years. In fact the Longhorns have tied or won the rebounding battle in 127 of their last 153 games overall, including nine of 14 games this season. The Longhorns hold a +8.6 rebounding margin, which ranks 25th nationally. Texas has reached 50 or more rebounds in four games this year.
- Next Up: Texas returns home to play host to Texas Tech on Wednesday. Tip-off at the Frank Erwin Center is slated for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by Longhorn Network.
