• SUCCESS AGAINST THE BOBCATS: UT has posted 26 straight victories against Texas State entering Wednesday's contest. The Horns have won 22 consecutive home games against the Bobcats, including all 13 prior meetings at the Erwin Center.
• BIG 12 HONORS: Senior G Matt Coleman III was named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Player of the Week on Monday. In four contests over a seven-day period, he averaged 16.3 points and 4.5 assists per game. He claimed Camping World Maui Invitational MVP honors and followed with 17 points in Sunday's loss to No. 12/3 Villanova.
