NORMAN, Okla. — Junior guard Matt Coleman III registered a game-high 21 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining, to lead The University of Texas Men's Basketball team (19-11, 9-8 Big 12) to a dramatic 52-51 victory over Oklahoma (18-12, 8-9 Big 12) on Tuesday night at Lloyd Noble Center. The Longhorns earned their fifth-consecutive Big 12 Conference victory and climbed into a tie for third place with Texas Tech (9-8 Big 12) in the league standings with one regular-season contest remaining.
Coleman hit 9-of-15 field goals (tying his career high), including 3-of-5 from three-point range, and added three boards and two assists without a turnover in 36 minutes. Junior forward Royce Hamm Jr. posted 11 rebounds to go along with 8 points (4-8 FG) in 31 minutes, while redshirt freshman forward Brock Cunningham recorded a career-high 11 boards and tied his career high with 8 points in a career-best 32 minutes.
