• For the 101st time in the history of the series, Texas and No. 2/2 Baylor meet Thursday on the hardwood in a battle of two schools separated by just 100 miles on I-35. Tip-off in the Ferrell Center is slated for 7:30 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by FS1.
• vs. The Ranked: Texas is 3-3 this season against teams ranked in the Associated Press Top-25 this season. The Longhorns have win against No. 1 Stanford, No. 17 Tennessee and No. 25 TCU. Texas is 191-250 [.433] all-time against AP Top-25 teams. Head Coach Karen Aston has 32 wins against AP Top-25 teams in her eighth season at the helm of the Texas program.
• The Series: Texas and Baylor meet for the 101st time with the Longhorns leading the all-time series 58-42. The Lady Bears are Texas' second-most frequent opponent all-time between the 104 all-time meetings between the Longhorns and Texas Tech. Baylor has won 19 of the last 20 meetings between the two squads. Texas last defeated Baylor on Feb. 16, 2017 - an 85-79 win inside Waco's Ferrell Center.
• On The Boards: Success on the boards has been a staple of Texas teams for many years. In fact the Longhorns have tied or won the rebounding battle in 139 of their last 167 games overall, including 21 of 28 games this season. The Longhorns hold a +8.6 rebounding margin, which ranks 19th nationally. Texas has reached 50 or more rebounds in seven games this year.
• Taylor's Big Week: Freshman guard Celeste Taylor is the reigning Big 12 Co-Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week. In a pair of wins against No. 25 TCU and Oklahoma, Taylor led the Longhorns with 24.5 points per game, a field-goal percentage of 60.7, eight three-pointers made and 36.5 minutes per game. She became the first Texas player this season to record back-to-back 20-plus point games, including a career-high 27 vs. the Sooners on Saturday.
• Next Up: Texas plays host to Oklahoma State for Senior Day on Sunday. Tip-off at the Frank Erwin Center is slated for 11:30 a.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by LHN.
