Tip-off is slated for 11:30 a.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by Longhorn Network. The Longhorns will honor five seniors Lashann Higgs, Joyner Holmes, Sug Sutton, Sophie Taylor and Jada Underwood. In addition, Texas will recognize four student support staff members: Nick Bovine, Adrian Valadez, Joe Lu and Annie Tsai.
- From The Rafters: Texas will celebrate the retirement of the No. 24 jersey of Clarissa Davis in a pre-game ceremony during Sunday's game beginning at 11:14 a.m. CT. Davis will become the second women's basketball player at Texas to have her jersey retired, joining Kamie Ethridge. Davis starred for the Longhorns from 1985-86 to 1988-89. She was a two-time All-American, the recipient of the Naismith Trophy in 1987 and 1989 and was the Most Valuable Player of the 1986 NCAA Final Four.
- The Series: Texas and Oklahoma State meet for the 53rd time in the history of the two programs. Texas leads the all-time series 37-15, including a 20-4 record when the game is played in Austin. The Longhorns have won the last 11 meetings between the two teams.
- On The Boards: Success on the boards has been a staple of Texas teams for many years. In fact the Longhorns have tied or won the rebounding battle in 139 of their last 168 games overall, including 21 of 29 games this season. The Longhorns hold a +7.8 rebounding margin, which ranks 23rd nationally. Texas has reached 50 or more rebounds in seven games this year.
- Taylor's Big Week: Freshman guard Celeste Taylor is the reigning Big 12 Co-Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week. In a pair of wins against No. 25 TCU and Oklahoma, Taylor led the Longhorns with 24.5 points per game, a field-goal percentage of 60.7, eight three-pointers made and 36.5 minutes per game. She became the first Texas player this season to record back-to-back 20-plus point games, including a career-high 27 vs. the Sooners on Saturday.
