BACK ON THE GRIND: After a sensational 2-0 start to the season which included a massive win over defending National Champion and No.3-ranked Stanford this past Sunday, the Longhorns look to refocus and continue to grow as they move through their rugged nonconference slate.
WEEKLY AWARD FOR HARMON: Freshman guard Rori Harmon was named the Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week Monday following and impressive two games in which she averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
MATHARU MANIA: Junior Mississippi State transfer Aliyah Matharu has been an offensive force off the bench through the first two games of the season for the Longhorns. The D.C. native paces the team at 17.5 points per game.
FORTY ACRES FIELD TRIP: The Longhorns will welcome in more than 3,000 fourth through seventh graders to campus for the 10th annual Forty Acres Field Trip at the Erwin Center on Wednesday.
NEXT UP: Following Wednesday's tilt with the RedHawks, UT travels to Knoxville next Sunday (12 p.m. CT) for another nonconference battle at No.16/12 Tennessee. The game is set to air on ESPN
