Volleyball named No. 2 seed in 2021 NCAA Volleyball Championship

The Longhorns will host the first and second rounds, Dec. 2-3 at Gregory Gymnasium.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball was selected as the No. 2 National Seed in the 2021 NCAA Volleyball Championship, the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball committee announced Sunday.
The Longhorns (24-1) will play Sacred Heart on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. CT and will host the match of San Diego and Rice at 4 p.m. CT. The winners of Thursday's matches will play on Friday at 8 p.m. CT.
As one of the Top 4 seeds in the tournament, should the Longhorns advance they will have an opportunity to host NCAA Regionals at Gregory Gym.
The first and second round will be Dec. 2-4 in a single-elimination first round competition. Regionals will take place from Dec. 9-11. The National Semifinals will be held December 16, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. CT on ESPN. The National Championship will take place December 18, at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2. The championship will be held in Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
