Spizzirri and Woldeab move on to quarterfinals of ITA Fall Nationals

The Longhorn duo advanced to the doubles quarterfinals in San Diego on Friday.
San Diego, Calif. – Texas Men's Tennis sophomores Eliot Spizzirri and Siem Woldeab advanced to the doubles quarterfinals at the ITA National Fall Championships on Friday.
The Longhorn duo defeated Daniel Milavsky and Brian Shi of Harvard, 6-2, 7-6 (6), and will next face the 7 seed Lui Maxted and Pedro Vives Marcos of TCU on Saturday at 12 p.m. PT/2 p.m. CT.
At the Big 6 Invite, sophomore Evin McDonald and junior Nevin Arimilli fell in a close match in the opening round of doubles play, 8-6, to Mark Mandlik and Justin Schlageter of Oklahoma, before withdrawing from singles play to conclude their tournament.
