All-time Series: Texas leads, 36-16
• SETTING THE STAGE: Texas hosts Oklahoma State at the Frank Erwin Center in the second meeting between Big 12 foes this season. The Cowgirls won the first matchup in Stillwater back in January, but the Longhorns will be looking to get back to their winning ways on their home court after a tough loss to No. 21/24 West Virginia last Saturday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CT on Longhorn Network.
• SERIES HISTORY: Despite the loss in Stillwater in January, Texas still leads the all-time series against Oklahoma State, 36-16, and had won 12-straight meetings prior to last month's defeat, dating back to the 2015 season. The Longhorns are 20-4 all-time against the Cowgirls when the two programs face off on the Forty Acres.
• TURNING THEM OVER: Texas' pressure defense has made an impression on the national and Big 12 stats rankings this year. UT forced a season-high 35 turnovers in a win over SMU on Nov. 25, and created 34 turnovers in its Big 12 opener at Kansas State on Dec. 21. As a result, the Longhorns lead the Big 12 in turnovers forced per game (+20.06) and turnover margin (+6.78). UT's +6.78 turnover margin is the ninth-best mark nationally this season.
• CREATING OFFENSE FROM DEFENSE: Texas is utilizing its defense to create offense this season, as the Longhorns has scored at least 20 points off turnovers in 10 games this season. The Longhorns posted a season-high 39 points off turnovers in the season opener versus SMU, and hit the 30-point mark in three-straight outings against Drake (33 points), at Kansas State (38 points) and against Lamar (32 points). Texas is 9-1 when scoring at least 20 points off turnovers this year.
• CHASING CHARLI: Preseason National Player of the Year candidate Charli Collier has put up All-America numbers this season, averaging 21.9 points (No. 17 nationally/No. 2 Big 12) and 12.4 rebounds (No. 5/No. 2) per game. She has posted 13 double-doubles this year, the second most of any Division I player and ranks near the top of several statistical categories. Most notably, Collier ranks eighth in field goals made (137), sixth in final points (395), fourth in free throws made (112), third in offensive rebounds per game (5.3) and second in total rebounds (224).
