Swimming and Diving teams earn Scholar All-America status

Longhorns' men's and women's swimming and diving teams eclipse the minimum 3.0 GPA threshold to earn the honor.
RICHMOND, Va. – The CSCAA (College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America) announced Monday the selection of The University of Texas Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams as Scholar All-America teams for the 2021 fall semester.
Teams were required to post a minimum 3.0 GPA to earn the distinction for the 2021 Fall semester. The second-ranked Texas women logged a 3.59 GPA last semester while the No. 1 Texas men posted a 3.31 GPA.
A total of 728 teams from 450 institutions earned Scholar All-America status across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA divisions.
The women's team next compete this weekend, with dual meets against NC State in Raleigh on Friday and at North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Saturday. Both the men's and women's squads will travel to Dallas to face SMU on Friday, Feb. 4.
