ESPN College GameDay returns to Austin

For second time in 2022, the renowned pregame show will broadcast live from the UT Campus.
Austin – For the second time this season, ESPN's College GameDay will broadcast live from Austin and The University of Texas campus this Saturday, the show announced on Sunday morning. It marks the first time the renowned pregame show will have a Longhorn home game as the featured backdrop twice in the same season, and ninth time they'll set up shop in Austin.

The show will air for three hours from 8-11 a.m. CT previewing Texas' Big 12 showdown with TCU at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium (6:30 p.m. CT/ABC). It will take place on the LBJ Lawn on the northeast corner of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The crowd pit will open at 5:30 a.m. and the first 500 fans will get FREE Whataburger Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits and FREE Red Bull!
Including seven visits to the AT&T Red River Showdown and four neutral site appearances, it will mark the 20th time the GameDay set and its show will be a prominent fixture at a Texas game. The last time was this year's tightly contested 20-19 defeat to No. 1 Alabama on Sept. 10. That GameDay show was a highly-watched program that produced some of the best viewership numbers in its history.
