Qualifiers Announced for 94th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Presented by Truist

AUSTIN, Texas – The 94th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist and Meet Director James Barr released the initial qualifiers for next week's historic meet. The Texas Relays begin on Wednesday March 23 and run through Saturday, March 26 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The traditional four-day meet schedule is back in full effect this season after last season's Relays was cut down to an abbreviated schedule. This season will feature University, College, Invitational and will return the high school division with the Longhorn Network having exclusive coverage.
The 2022 Relays will begin with the University/Collegiate women's heptathlon scheduled for a 10 a.m. start and the University/Collegiate men in the decathlon at 10:30 a.m. Like always, the Relays will conclude with the Cleburne Price Jr. 4x400 relay and the Sanya Richards-Ross 4x400 relay on Saturday night.
Next week's Relays will feature both NCAA Division I Indoor Champions in the Texas men and Florida women. Along with the champions, both runner-up teams in the Texas women and the men of North Carolina A&T will also be in competition. Other notables on the women's side will be No. 3 Kentucky, No. 4 Arkansas and No. 5 LSU. The No. 5 teams of Princeton and Texas A&M, along top-10 programs Georgia and TCU will also make their way to the Forty Acres.
