98th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays announces multi-event entries

Heptathlon, Decathlon featured during first two days of meet.
AUSTIN, Texas – The 98th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, presented by Truist, is two weeks away, and the first qualifiers have been announced. The meet is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, through Saturday, April 4, at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Meet director Andrew Klingsporn announced Wednesday the 36 accepted entries for the university and college decathlon and heptathlon fields.
Texas will feature sophomore Tabea Eitel, fresh off a 12th-place finish in the pentathlon at the NCAA Indoor Championships, and freshman Iana Ahetz-Etcheber in the heptathlon. In the decathlon, Brock Lewis and Jonathan Hertwig-Odegaard will represent the Longhorns.
Texas Ex and two-time Texas Relays decathlon champion Leo Neugebauer holds the meet record with 8,708 points, set in 2024. The heptathlon record belongs to Florida's Anna Hall, who scored 6,412 points in 2022.
The multi-events are scheduled to begin April 1 with the women's 100-meter hurdles at 10:30 a.m., followed by the men's 110-meter hurdles at 11:00 a.m.

- Tuesday, March 31: Final Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays competitors posted on TexasLonghorns.com (noon Central).
- Wednesday, April 1: Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist begins.
