Longhorns Close Regular Season at Oregon Twilight

EUGENE, Ore. - Crayton Carrozza breaks into the Texas record books in the final race of the Oregon Twilight meet on Friday night.

Carrozza's time of 3:40.13 in the McChesney 1500m race ranks as the No. 6 time in Texas history and is a top-40 time in the NCAA this season. Carrozza already boasts a top-10 time in the 800m dash heading into conference week.

Yusuf Bizimana also competed in the 1500m and finished with a time of 3:46.96.

Yaseen Abdalla finished second in the 5000m with a time of 13:51.96 in his third 5K of the outdoor season. Sam Worley opened the day in the men's 800m, finishing with a season-best time of 1:53.53.
