No. 2 Women’s Swim and Dive defeats No. 5 Ohio State and No. 6 Alabama

Kelly Pash collected two victories and diving swept the 1-meter on day two of the two-day double dual meet.
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – No. 2 Texas Women's Swimming and Diving defeated No. 5 Ohio State and No. 6 Alabama in a two-day double dual-meet that concluded on Saturday at the Alabama Aquatic Center.
Texas topped the Buckeyes, 196-157, and defeated the Crimson Tide, 213.50-139.50.
The Longhorns opened the day with a sweep on the 1-meter, highlighted by Hailey Hernandez's 314.15 points to win the event. Bridget O'Neil, who won the 3-meter on Friday, finished as the runner-up on 1-meter with 301.15 points, while Janie Boyle placed third with 289.85 points.
Texas followed with a dominating victory in the 400 medley relay, as Olivia Bray, Lydia Jacoby, Emma Sticklen and Kelly Pash combined to clock 3:32.85, more than three seconds ahead of runner-up Ohio State.
Pash added a pair of victories, winning the 100 free (48.37) and 200 IM (1:58.24), bringing her two-day total to four individual wins.
Jacoby notched her second win in as many days with a victory in the 200 breast, touching the wall in 2:11.14 to complete the sweep of the breaststroke races.
Sticklen earned a win in the 100 fly with a time of 51.20 and was followed by Bray, who placed second in 53.32.
Bray also picked up a third-place result in the 200 back (1:56.25), the third top-three result of the weekend after winning the 100 back on Friday.
Texas closed out the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 free relay, posting a time of 1:29.34 by Bridget Semenuk, Sticklen, Grace Cooper and Pash.
Next up, Texas hosts No. 4 NC State on Jan. 27-28 at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
