• LOOKING FOR A SEASON SWEEP: Texas enters Monday's contest aiming for its first regular-season series sweep against the Red Raiders since the 2014-15 season. The Longhorns rallied for a 72-70 win in Austin earlier this year (Jan. 14).
• 2 X 2000 POINTS: Per the NCAA, Texas is the ONLY school in the nation (across ALL Divisions) to have TWO current roster players who have reached the 2,000-point mark in their careers in Marcus Carr (2,170) and Timmy Allen (2,013).
• COOKING WITH RICE: Graduate G Sir'Jabari Rice has averaged a team-best 18.4 ppg whle hitting 52.1-percent (25-48) from the floor, including a 50-percent mark (14-28) from three-point range, and 28-of-32 (.875) free throws over his last five games.
• MAKING FREE THROWS: UT converted its first 24 free throws in Saturday's win against West Virginia. Including the six-straight to end the game at Kansas, the Longhorns set a program record with 30 consecutive free throws made over the two-game stretch.
