• TEXAS IN THE BIG DANCE: This marks UT's highest seed in the NCAA Tournament since the Longhorns earned a No. 2 seed in 2008, the last time Texas advanced to the Sweet 16. The Longhorns are one of seven schools to appear in at least 21 of the last 24 NCAA tourneys and one of six schools to appear in at least 29 of the last 34 NCAA tourneys.
• DEFENSE TRAVELS: Texas limited its three opponents at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship to an average of 54.3 ppg on a combined 34.9-percent (59-169) FG shooting, including a 26.3-percent (15-57) from three-point range, and allowed just 27 assists while forcing 49 turnovers en route to winning the title.
• DISU ON A ROLL: Senior F Dylan Disu claimed Most Outstanding Player accolades at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. Disu averaged a team-best 14.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 25.5 minutes per contest while converting 17-of-23 (.739) from the field and 10-of-12 (.833) from the free throw line over the three-game stretch.
