Backed by the highest-attended stadium in the Big 12, Texas is set to host Oklahoma State for a three-game series
AUSTIN, TX – Coming off the heels of a series win against Kansas last weekend, The University of Texas softball program will continue its nine-game homestand when the No. 7/7 Longhorns host No. 3/3 Oklahoma State for a three-game series this week.
The two programs will open the series at 8 PM CT on Thursday, April 20 with Kevin Brown and Amanda Scarborough calling the game, presented by Texas One Fund, to a nation-wide audience on ESPN2. Over the next two days, the two will remain in the booth to call Friday's game, presented by American Airlines — at 4:30 PM — and Saturday's series finale, presented by St. David's HealthCare — at 12 PM — on the Longhorn Network.
Andrew Haynes will also have the game's action on the airwaves with all three games set to be broadcasted on 105.3 FM in Austin.
LEADING OFF
- Texas will enter this week's three-game series against Oklahoma State having won 24 games at Red & Charline McCombs Field this season, which is tied for the 10th most home wins in a single season in program.
