No. 16 Baseball picked second in Big 12 Preseason Poll

The Longhorns received two first place votes and sit behind preseason favorite TCU.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 16 Texas Baseball has been selected to finish second in the Preseason Big 12 Baseball Coaches' Poll, the league announced Thursday. The poll is voted on by the league's head coaches and coaches were not permitted to vote for their own team.
The Longhorns sit behind preseason favorite TCU, who received 11 first place votes. Texas picked up the other two first place votes to finish second.
Last season, Texas won the Big 12 regular season championship after being picked fourth in the preseason poll.
