No. 4 Women’s Golf moves into third place at Stanford Intercollegiate

Selina Liao fires 3-under 68 to lead Longhorns on day two.
STANFORD, Calif. — The No. 4 Texas Women's Golf team shot the best second round of the tournament field and moved into third place in the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Longhorns fired a 2-under-par team score and moved up three spots into third place on the team leaderboard. Texas is 1-over for the tournament and trail host Stanford (-9) and Southern California (-5).
Selina Liao birdied two of her last three holes to card a 3-over 68. Liao is 4-under-par for the tournament and two back of individual leader Vivian Lu of Washington.
Farah O'Keefe and Cindy Hsu turned in scores of even-par 71 and Lauren Kim carded a 1-over 72. Angela Heo fired a 3-over 74.
Teams will have a shotgun start for the final round tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. CT.
The Lineup
Sophomore Selina Liao made seven birdies on her scorecard in the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate. Liao is 4-under for the tournament and is two back of the individual leader.
Sophomore Farah O'Keefe carded an even-par 71 and is T16 on the individual leaderboard.
Junior Cindy Hsu fired an even-par 71 for her second round. Hsu birdied back-to-back holes on 11 and 12.
Sophomore Lauren Kim made two birdies on her way to a 1-over 72 in the second round of the tournament.
Junior Angela Heo made a pair of birdies and finished with a 3-over 74 for her second round.
