AUSTIN, Texas – Together with Truist, congratulations to October's Hook 'Em's Community Heroes: from Volleyball, Reagan Rutherford and from Football, Barryn Sorrell.
Reagan is a strong supporter of health care access, especially for those suffering from ailments that can be cured but don't have the right means to access care.
"Access to health care is something I believe everyone should be able to experience. This matters to me because seeing people suffer knowing they don't have to because there is a cure out there is bothering. People of all backgrounds should be able to have a healthy life."
Barryn has seen firsthand the effect good health care can have on those around him, and wants to help make sure others are able to receive the same quality care.
"Health care support matters to me because I have grandparents that have dealt with health issues. Everyone deserves access to the things necessary to overcome their health issues."
In recognition of their causes, Truist is proud to donate $500 each to organizations that provide access to health care.
