Meet Notes
Final Meet for Legendary Head Coach Eddie Reese
The 2024 NCAA Championships will mark the final meet for Texas' Hall of Fame head coach Eddie Reese, who will retire following the U.S. Olympic Trials this summer. Reese, in his 46th season at the helm of the Texas program, is the winningest coach in the sport's history with 15 NCAA titles and is the only collegiate swimming coach to win an NCAA team title in five separate decades. All told, Reese has led Texas to 15 national championships, 13 runner-up results and 36 top-3 finishes. He is also a three-time U.S. Men's Olympic Team head coach (1992, 2004, 2008),

ESPN+ will provide live digital broadcast coverage for preliminary and finals sessions Wednesday through Saturday.
Individual Swimming Event Seedings
Coby Carrozza is 11th in the 200 free (1:31.97) and 500 free (4:11.95).
Cole Crane is seeded 28th in the 200 fly (1:42.02).
Jake Foster is seeded 11th in the 100 breast (51.22) and 12th in the 200 breast (1:51.78)
Nate Germonprez is seeded eighth in the 200 IM (1:41.29).
Luke Hobson is seeded eighth in the 200 free (1:31.88).
Will Modglin is seeded fifth in the 100 back (44.49), sixth in the 200 IM (1:41.01) and eighth in the 200 back (1:38.99).
Chris O'Connor is seeded 27th in the 200 back (1:40.42).
In the Diving Well
Texas qualified all six divers during the three-day NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in Houston. Noah Duperre and Tanner Braunton qualified on all three events and will compete on 1-meter, 3-meter and platform. Nick Harris and Brendan McCourt will compete on 1-meter and 3-meter, while Manuel Borowski will dive on 3-meter and Pierce Brooke on platform.
Big 12 Championship Meet Honors
Following standout performances at the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships, the Longhorns earned three of the four individual meet honors. Freshman Will Modglin earned Swimmer of the Meet honors and Noah Duperre was tabbed Diver of the Meet for the second year in a row, while Nate Germonprez was named the Swimming Newcomer of the Meet and Tanner Braunton earned Diving Newcomer of the Meet.
Team Rankings
The Longhorns are ranked eighth in the final College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Division I poll (March 12). The top 10 includes Arizona State (325), Florida (308), California (293), NC State (292), Stanford (271), Indiana (265), Georgia (239), TEXAS (224), Auburn (222) and Texas A&M (209).
Storied Program
Texas placed third at the 2023 NCAA Championships and has claimed 15 NCAA Championships, finished runner-up 13 times and has a total of 36 top-3 finishes at the NCAA Championship meet. UT earned NCAA team titles in 1981, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2021.
Conference Dominance
The Longhorns have won all 28 Big 12 Conference titles and have claimed 45 consecutive crowns. This current streak dates to the 1980 Southwest Conference championship. Texas has earned a total of 66 conference titles (38 Southwest Conference, 28 Big 12 Conference).
