• WE BACK PAT: The Longhorns will honor legendary coach Pat Summit by participating in the We Back Pat initiative. Texas will wear special pre-game shirts to honor Pat Summit.
• BOOKER NAMED SEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Madison Booker was named SEC Player of the Week by the Southeastern Conference this week. In wins against Auburn and No. 8 Maryland, Booker scored a combined 50 points and shot 61.3 percent from the field in doing so. Booker now has scored 20 or more points in eight games this season.
• RANKED FOES: Texas will play their seventh game of the season against a ranked opponent on Thursday. Texas is 4-2 in those games and they have three wins this season over top-10 opponents (West Virginia, Oklahoma, Maryland).
• IN THE MOOD: Texas is 9-0 at home this season and 41-5 all-time at Moody Center.
• HOLLE SETS PROGRAM RECORD: In the win against Auburn, Shay Holle became the all-time winningest player in the NCAA Era for Texas women's basketball. Holle has been part of 127 wins at Texas and has played in 152 games for the Longhorns. Texas is 121-31 in games she has played and 61-13 with her in the starting lineup.
• HARMON MOVING UP: Rori Harmon moved into second on the Longhorns all-time assist list against Alabama. Harmon now has 623 career assists and is one of two players in program history with at least 1,000 points and 600 assists. Harmon will play in her 100th career game on Thursday.
• DEFENSIVE PRESSURE: In their five SEC games, the Longhorns have forced a total of 113 turnovers (22.6 per game) and converted those turnovers into 126 points. Texas leads opponents in points off turnovers 126-58 in SEC play. Texas is forcing 24.8 turnovers per game and lead the country in turnover margin.
• GETTING TO THE FREE-THROW LINE: This season Texas has made 363 free-throws and opponents have attempted 356. Texas has made 107 more free-throws than their opponents this season and lead the country in free-throws made per game (18.15).
• ON THE BOARDS: Texas has limited opponents to single digits for second chance points in 18 of their 20 games this season. In the last five games combined Texas leads opponents 78-30 in second chance points.
