• RANKED WINS: The Longhorns won their fifth game of the season against a ranked opponent with their 80-76 win over No. 17 Tennessee on Thursday. Texas has beat three top-10 opponents this season.
• BOOKER NAMED SEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Madison Booker was named SEC Player of the Week by the Southeastern Conference this week. In wins against Auburn and No. 8 Maryland, Booker scored a combined 50 points and shot 61.3 percent from the field in doing so. With her 26 points against Tennessee, Booker is averaging 25.3 points per game and shooting 56.6 percent from the field over her last three games.
• HOLLE SETS PROGRAM RECORD: Shay Holle was recognized prior to the game vs. Tennessee for setting the UT program record for wins. Holle has been part of 128 wins at Texas and has played in 153 games. Texas is 122-31 in games she has played and 62-13 with her in the starting lineup.
• JONES A BEAST ON THE BOARDS: Taylor Jones recorded her 24th career double-double on Thursday with 21 points and 14 rebounds against Tennessee. Jones had more offensive rebounds (9) than the whole Tennessee team (7).
• ON THE BOARDS: Texas has limited opponents to single digits for second chance points in 19 of their 21 games this season. In the last six games combined Texas leads opponents 92-35 in second chance points, including 25-5 against Tennessee when the Lady Vols came in leading the country in offensive rebounding.
• HARMON MOVING UP: Rori Harmon moved into second on the Longhorns all-time assist list against Alabama. Harmon now has 631 career assists and is one of two players in program history with at least 1,000 points and 600 assists.
