Hook ‘Em's Community Heroes – January 2025

AUSTIN, Texas – Together with Truist, congratulations to January's Hook 'Em's Community Heroes: from Women's Tennis, Eszter Meri, and from Men's Tennis, Jonah Braswell.
Eszter is a proud supporter of youth sports and fitness efforts in her community, as she sees the benefits these programs can have on children.
"Youth fitness is important to me because when kids grow up with strong, positive fitness habits, they not only build physical strength but they also boost their mental resilience and self-confidence."
Jonah has experience dealing with drug use in his community and has seen firsthand the damaging effects of addition. He is striving to help those who struggle with addiction and support their recovery efforts..
"Drug use and addiction has had an impact on my life, as I've lost friends to this issue. Supporting prevention efforts and recovery programs is important to me because I've seen how addiction can affect lives and communities."
In recognition of their causes, Truist is proud to donate $500 each to organizations that support and provide access to youth fitness and drug use prevention & recovery.
