No. 10 Women’s Golf moves up to third at Nanea Invitational

Longhorns tie for best round of the day at 11-under-par in round two.
KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII — The Texas women's golf team fired a score of 11-under-par on day two, to make up 10 shots on the lead going into the final round of the Nanea Invitational on Tuesday.
The Longhorns top three players made 14 birdies and one bogey in the second round. Farah O'Keefe had a clean scorecard with five birdies and moved up the leaderboard 25 spots with her 5-under 68.
Cindy Hsu continued her strong play with four birdies and a 4-under 69. Hsu is 8-under for the tournament and two shots back of the leader Anna Davis going into the final round of the tournament.
Lauren Kim made five birdies on her scorecard for a 4-under 69. Kim and O'Keefe are T6 on the individual leaderboard.
Arizona State leads the field at 22-under with Stanford second at 21-under and Texas in third at 16-under-par.
The Longhorns will be paired with Arizona State, Stanford and Auburn and tee off tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. CT.
The Lineup
Cindy Hsu went 3-under on her back nine holes including a stretch of three straight birdies on holes 12-14. Hsu is second on the leaderboard, two shots back of the lead.
Farah O'Keefe moved up the leaderboard 25 spots with her 5-under 68. O'Keefe scored 3-under on the front nine and 2-under on the back nine. O'Keefe is T7 on the leaderboard.
Lauren Kim moved up the leaderboard 17 spots in the second round of the tournament. Kim made five birdies on her round and is T7 on the leaderboard.
Selina Liao carded a 2-over 75 and made a birdie on the seventh hole in her round.
Angela Heo made five birdies in the second round of the tournament.
