Longhorns set to play 34 games at UFCU Disch-Falk Field
AUSTIN, Texas — University of Texas head baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle announced the Longhorns' 2026 schedule Thursday afternoon.
Texas baseball is built on competing against the best, Schlossnagle said. From the SEC to our non-conference slate, we'll face programs that bring out the best in us. This schedule is designed to help our team grow, develop and be at its strongest when the postseason arrives.
The Longhorns' 54-game regular season slate includes 34 contests at UFCU Disch-Falk Field and features 24 games against 10 different 2025 NCAA Tournament teams.
Texas starts its 2026 campaign with eight straight tilts at home, beginning play on Feb. 13, with the opener of a three-game series versus UC Davis (Feb. 13-15). The Longhorns host in-state foe Lamar for a midweek matchup on Feb. 17, before squaring off against Michigan State (Feb. 20-22) and UTRGV (Feb. 24) to close out the homestand.
The following weekend, Texas will participate in the 26th annual Astros Foundation College Classic. Across the three-day event, the Longhorns will face national runner-up Coastal Carolina (Feb. 27), longtime league rival Baylor (Feb. 28) and Big Ten power Ohio State (March 1) at Daikin Park.
In SEC play, Texas' home schedule includes series with Ole Miss (Marh 13-15), Oklahoma (March 27-29), Alabama (April 17-19), Mississippi State (May 1-3) and Missouri (May 14-16).
The Longhorns travel to play at Auburn (March 20-22), South Carolina (April 2-4), Texas A&M (April 10-12) in the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown, Vanderbilt (April 24-26) and Tennessee (May 8-10).

In its first season under Schlossnagle, the Longhorns notched their best mark in 15 years, finishing with a 44-14 ledger. Texas became the first team to win the SEC in its inaugural campaign in the league since 1933. The Longhorns were among the record 13 SEC programs that earned NCAA Tournament bids in 2025, with a record-tying eight SEC teams selected as NCAA Regional hosts.
