No. 2 Women’s Swimming and Diving inks four to 2026 class

Longhorns sign quartet of top-12 ranked swimmers.
AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 2 Women's Swimming and Diving announced four top-12 signees for the 2026 recruiting class.
Mena Boardman – Charlotte, N.C.
No. 3 recruit in the Class of 2026 according to SwimSwam… Holds a 100 fly best time of 50.93, joining an elite group of high school swimmers to go sub-51… Improved from 51.62 to 50.93 last season, highlighted by top performances at the Arena Senior SC Championships with times of 51.11 in prelims and 50.93 in finals… Owns sprint freestyle bests of 22.05 and 48.71, improving from 22.22 and 49.37 the previous year… Also holds personal bests of 52.80 in the 100 back, 23.15 in the 50 fly, and 24.41 in the 50 back, along with a 22.33 fly relay split… Placed fourth in the 50 fly (26.23) at U.S. Nationals to qualify for the World Junior Championships… Projects as a 50 free, 100 fly and 100 free swimmer for Texas.
Avery Klamfoth – Portland, Or.
No. 10 recruit in the Class of 2026 according to SwimSwam… USA Swimming Futures Championship qualifier… NCHSAA 4A State Championship runner-up in the 100 breast and 200 IM after winning the 200 IM title as a sophomore… Holds personal bests of 1:00.4 and 2:11.2 in the breaststrokes and 1:57.6 and 4:10.9 in the individual medleys… Also owns bests of 1:50.92 in the 200 free, 56.58 in the 100 back, and 1:58.80 in the 200 back.
Brynn Lavigueur – Orrington, Maine
No. 12 recruit in the Class of 2026 according to SwimSwam… Became a 22/48/1:45 freestyler last season, a mark achieved by only two other swimmers in the class… Captured her first two individual FHSAA 4A State Championships in the 100 back (52.57 prelims, 52.67 final) and 200 IM (1:59.31), while also setting bests in the 50 free (22.84) and 50 back (24.69) on relay lead-offs… Won the 200 free at Winter Juniors – East with a lifetime best of 1:45.82, also recording bests of 48.98 in the 100 free and 22.74 in the 50 free… Enjoyed a standout long course season, earning best times in the 200 free (2:03.11) and 100 back (1:01.66) at U.S. Nationals, and adding multiple PBs at Futures Championships in Ocala… Claimed the U.S. Junior National title in the 50 back (28.42) and set a new best of 1:01.38 in the 100 back.
Sydney Schoeck – St. Louis, Mo.
No. 7 recruit in the Class of 2026 according to SwimSwam… The highest riser among swimmers who did not rank in the top 20 last year, Schoeck showed remarkable improvement across her junior season, led by her performances in the 200 back and 400 IM… Dropped from 1:57.50 to 1:52.37 in the 200 back and from 4:15.06 to 4:08.41 in the 400 IM, both well under the NCAA cutline… Added a third NCAA qualifying event by improving her 1650 free to 16:01.49, ranking second in the class and within four seconds of NCAA scoring… Also ranks No. 2 in the 500 free (4:43.10), holds a 1:58.97 in the 200 IM, and is competitive in sprint freestyle events… Placed 11th in the 400 IM (4:43.20) at U.S. Nationals and earned multiple titles at the Columbia Sectionals, including wins in the 400 free and 200 IM… Capped her long course season at U.S. Junior Nationals with a victory in the 200 back (2:11.81), runner-up finish in the 1500 free (16:28.74), and top-four placements in the 800 free and 400 IM.
