AUSTIN, TEXAS – Breakout singer-songwriter-guitarist Ty Myers will headline Longhorn City Limits presented by Hollister on November 22 prior to Texas Football's SEC showdown versus the Arkansas Razorbacks. Myers will be joined by rising artist Coleman Jennings. Located on the LBJ Lawn, admission to LCL is FREE for all concerts throughout the season.
The Dripping Springs native is quickly commanding attention after delivering his acclaimed debut album The Select (RECORDS Nashville/Columbia) and earning three RIAA certifications, including his first PLATINUM hit with current single "Ends of the Earth" (which is climbing at Country radio). In the studio for his mega-anticipated sophomore album, Myers has teased his next chapter with a string of early releases: "Leaving Carolina," "Through a Screen," "Come On Over, Baby," and "Two Trains (feat. Marcus King)." To date, he's amassed 956 MILLION+ global streams (boasting 20 MILLION+ global streams per week). The fast-rising phenomenon sold out his 73-date The Select Tour and is slated to perform at both the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and Stagecoach, while also joining Luke Combs' My Kinda Saturday Night Tour at stadiums across North America and Europe next spring.
Recently featured in Rolling Stone, the Billboard Country Rookie of the Month has been spotlighted in their high-profile 21 Under 21 all-genre list. The 18-year-old first created a buzz with his debut "Tie That Binds," followed by the GOLD smash "Drinkin' Alone" (135 MILLION+ global streams). Born just outside of Austin on a six-generation family cattle ranch, Myers continues to carry the Texas spirit with him.
Characterized by seamless vibrato, narrative-driven lyrics, and melodic arrangements, Austin-based and current University of Texas student Coleman Jennings has crafted a vigorous and distinct sound. Blending traditional outlaw country with the upbeat progressions of classic rock, folk, and blues, Jennings has forged a style that feels both familiar and refreshingly original. His 2024 EP Wildflowers & Tears earned comparisons to legends like Willie Nelson and Townes Van Zandt, while his debut single "Head Spinning" highlights his originality and captures the country-folk spirit.
"Ty Myers and Coleman Jennings represent everything we love about Texas music — authentic, hardworking, and built from the ground up," said Chris Del Conte, Vice President and Lois and Richard Folger Athletics Director. "We can't wait to showcase these next generation of stars at Longhorn City Limits as they set the stage for an incredible Texas Football gameday."
Coleman Jennings will take the stage at 11 a.m. followed by Ty Myers at approximately 12:30 p.m.
