AUSTIN, Texas – Together with Truist, congratulations to March's Hook 'Em's Community Heroes: from Women's Track & Field, Kenondra Davis, and from Men's Track & Field, Logan Popelka.
Kenondra recognizes the impact youth sports can have and is supporting efforts to provide access to children.
"Youth sports play a huge role in shaping confidence, discipline, and opportunity for young athletes. I've seen firsthand how access to quality training and mentorship can change lives, and I want to help more kids develop their potential through sports."
Logan's personal experience with autism has given him a unique perspective on the condition, and he is raising awareness for others to understand the support needed.
"Supporting autism awareness is important because it helps others understand and appreciate the unique strengths and challenges of individuals like my sister. Raising awareness ensures that children with autism receive the support and acceptance they deserve to reach their full potential."
In recognition of their causes, Truist is proud to donate $500 each to organizations that support and provide support for autism awareness and youth sports.
