Texas head coach Laura Ianello
"The Longhorns struggled this week. We finished sixth and battled some very difficult playing conditions. This was a very competitive field this week. We got to see a lot of the top teams in the country and play the golf course that is very much an LPGA caliber style golf course. I think the individual winner being at one under was a really impressive showing of how difficult the conditions were and we were led by Lauren Kim with a third place finish. Lauren was very steady this whole week especially today. Farah O'Keefe had another solid showing with a T11 finish. Lauren and Farah have been very steady continuously for us."
"Our lineup has been fluid. We are trying to give some ladies opportunities to compete so I can see what they've got before postseason. I'm very excited about our home tournament coming up next. We have some work to do, but I told the ladies today you proved that you can do hard things, because today's conditions were about as tough as they can get in the game of golf, and I was proud of their effort and their grit."
