Women’s Basketball announces complete 2025-26 schedule

Longhorns will play 10 non-conference home games at Moody Center this season.
AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas women's basketball program released their complete 2025-26 schedule on Thursday.
The Longhorns non-conference schedule includes five teams ranked in the top-25 at the end of 2024-25 season and two others that received votes in the final top-25 poll.
Texas will take on (rankings from final 2024-25 poll) No. 3 UCLA, No. 7 Duke or No. 2 South Carolina, No. 12 North Carolina, No. 18 Baylor and No. 23 South Dakota State. Richmond and James Madison received votes for the top-25 in the final poll and are on the Texas schedule as well.
After an exhibition game on Oct. 23, the Longhorns will open the 2025-26 slate on Monday, Nov. 3 with a home game against Incarnate Word.
The Longhorns will travel to Las Vegas Nov. 26-27 for the Players Era Championship. Texas will take on UCLA in the first game and either South Carolina or Duke the next day.
On Dec. 4 the Longhorns will host North Carolina in the ACC-SEC Challenge on one of the ESPN networks.
The Longhorns will travel to Fort Worth to take on former Big 12 foe Baylor in the inaugural Sprouts Farmers Market espnW Invitational on Dec. 14. That game will be televised on ABC with a tip time of 12:00 p.m. CT.
The SEC schedule gets underway on Jan. 1 at Missouri, with the SEC home opener on Jan. 4 vs. Ole Miss. Texas will play LSU both home and away in the 2025-26 season. The SEC tournament will be contested in Greenville, S.C. March 4-8, 2026.
With record numbers of season tickets already having been purchased now is the time to secure your seats for the season. The Longhorns are 49-5 all-time at Moody Center and need the support of the home crowd.
